- Our club is all about having a good time and enjoying the excitement of lightsaber dueling. We are building a great community of people who love to play together and have a blast.
- Safety: We take safety very seriously. We have a set of rules that everyone must follow, and we always make sure that everyone is using their lightsabers and following dueling best practices safely. If someone breaks the rules, they will be asked to leave.
- Gloves can help to protect your fingers and hands from stray hits.
- Eye protection is essential to protect your eyes.
- Wear comfortable clothes: You will get exercise both in mind as well in body. We use (depending on the people participating) sword-wielding techniques from all over the world. No experience necessary, though!
- This group is about actual “dueling” in the style of fencing: a point is scored when a lightsaber hits on some place that would be debilitating to have that appendage/area lopped off, or a “fatal” stike would have ocurred.
- It is not mandatory, but highly encouraged for someone experiencing a fatal hit to make some sort of dramatic “I was just struck down by a lightsaber” sound.
By joining or participating in the group, you agree to not hold any other member liable for any injuries sustained.
We may have loaner lightsabers for you to use, but if you do not have one, “decent” ones can be purchased for around $100. We have a small selection of dueling-ready lightsabers for sale for $100 if you are interested, just ask.
